Does completing a course prove mastery?
No. Completion records activity. Assessed work shows what was checked, the result and any recorded support. One correct answer or a guided lab does not establish lasting, independent ability.
Where is the new assessment pilot available?
The pilot covers quadratic reasoning, university data practice, workplace digital decisions and four selected coding or office labs. It does not rescore existing credentials or certify employment readiness.
How should an institution expand a pilot?
Start with a relevant program and review the work with educators or trainers. Measure unfamiliar-task performance, later reassessment and reliability separately from attendance, completion and satisfaction. Expand only when the evidence supports it.
